Weasel war dance
The weasel war dance is a ferret’s frantic hopping, arching and bumping into things — a happy, excited “let’s play” display, not a sign of distress.
Expect clumsy collisions during it; it’s a healthy sign of high spirits. Ferrets also sleep extremely deeply (“dead sleep”), which alarms new owners.
