Insectivore
An insectivore is an animal that eats mainly insects and other invertebrates — pet hedgehogs are largely insectivorous and do best on a commercial hedgehog/insectivore food plus gut-loaded live insects.
Where a proper insectivore food isn’t available, a high-quality, weight-managed cat or dog food is an acceptable base, rationed to prevent obesity.
