Marsupial
A marsupial is a pouched mammal — the sugar glider is the small-pet example, and (despite looking rodent-like) it needs marsupial-specific care, not rodent care.
This is why glider diet, housing and social needs differ so much from a hamster’s or rat’s, even though they’re a similar size.
