Bonding

Bonding is the careful process of introducing social small pets so they accept each other as companions — done gradually, on neutral territory, and never rushed.

Rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and gerbils all need bonded company, but a botched introduction causes fighting. Neutering (for rabbits), scent-swapping and slow, supervised meetings all help it succeed.
